Coatings are widely used everywhere, it’s not only a layer of decorative material, but also can protect the substrate from the air, moisture and other matters, so it comes with anti-oxidation, anti-corrosion, insulation and heat resistance. The range of application includes furniture, wall decoration, electrical appliance & digital product, vehicle and industrial purpose. The main material of coating in the early is plant oil, but now use coating resins to instead of it, and the processing technology becomes more and more matured. The resin in coating act as a role as filmogen to help the coating material tightly attach to the substrate,  it’s he basic material and cause the physical features.

With regard to the important materials for coating and painting, Baolin Chemical has some coating resins such an application, such as Glyceryl Rosinate, Rosin Modified Phenolic Resin (also named Phenolic Resin), Alcohol Soluble Resin, Maleic Resin, and so on.

Glyceryl Rosinate, also named Glycerol Ester Of Rosin, can be polymerized with plant oil for phenolic paint, and improve the hardness and brightness. For the application of road marking paint, it can collect well with pigment, reflecting material and other matters together.

Phenolic Resin can be polymerized with plant oil to make phenolic paint that has highlights of fast-drying, hardness and glossiness.

For water based paintings & coatings, Alcohol Soluble Resin is suitable for such an application, it can be dissolved in alcohol solvent, and has well solubility with high polymer, it is no-toxic, environmental-friendly and fast-dry material.

We can add Maleic Resin into road marking paint to improve the hardness and glossiness, and it comes with water-resistance.
